GLOBAL EDUCATORS CONFERENCE
The hallmark professional development experience each year is our annual Global Educators Conference, which brings together some of the best ideas, practices, and people in global education from around the world.
COLLABORATIVE FACULTY DEVELOPMENT TRAVEL PROGRAM
The GEBG believes that experiential education is also one of the best ways for faculty to learn and grown, and has offered an educators course in an international setting for several years. Previous experiences have been in Cambodia, Indonesia and Turkey and have included online pre-trip learning and post trip curriculum projects.
This 3-day program focuses on leadership development as facilitators offer practical advice and insights into leveraging your institution’s resources to build a high quality global program. Attendees form a supportive peer group to share ideas and best practices.
Across the U.S. member schools host 1 day meetings for regional leaders to engage in robust conversations about current issues and events in global education. Additionally, many of these groups collaborate to offer cost effective trainings to their faculty.
