GEBG supports our member schools through providing resources and assistance as schools navigate managing the risks of their off-campus, overnight programs–especially those that travel overseas.

The GEBG Resource Library contains an abundance of resources shared by member schools, including forms, policies, handbooks, vetting checklists, and much more. GEBG member schools have continuous access to and download ability from this wealth of knowledge.

Training overnight program leaders requires significant preparation, and schools are often not sure whom to hire or how to afford experts on this crucial topic. GEBG has vetted providers of these services and has designed custom one-day Regional Faculty Trainings with some of the best in the field, trainings we are able to offer in the regional setting at significantly discounted rates. Our list of current regional trainings is updated regularly throughout the year, and we are always looking for schools that are interested in hosting these trainings. Additionally, based on member request, GEBG now offers Custom Trainings for Overnight-Travel Leaders, which allow schools to determine the exact timing, location, and school-specific content of the sessions.

In addition to support with the crucial risk management that program leaders facilitate, member schools have requested more opportunities to train and support the busy school leaders who oversee global initiatives at their schools. Consequently, based on member requests GEBG now offers Leadership Coaching and Custom Consulting in addition to more structured Evaluations and more formal Endorsements. Our openings for these custom opportunities are limited and filling up fast, so let us know if you would like to learn more. We are proud to offer these services as a member benefit at well below market rate.

Contact us at info@gebg.org if you are interested in discussing any of these opportunities for your school.
